Sering banget ketemu error windows xp seperti ini :
Windows could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt :
\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\CONFIG\SYSTEM
You can attempt to repair this file by starting Windows Setup using the original Setup CD-ROM
Select 'r' at the first screen to start repair
Seperti biasa Mbah Google menjadi orang saya keramatkan, termasuk untuk kasus diatas. Menurut petuah si Mbah begini saja :
- Booting dengan menggunakan CD Installer XP
- Pada pilihan Repair pertama, tekan R
- Tekan angka 1 untuk masuk lokasi instalasi windows
- Kalau minta password, ketik password administratornya
- Tampilannya nanti begini C:\Windows
- Anda ganti dengan mengetik CD \Windows\system32\config
- Lalu ketikkan copy \windows\repair\system
- Selanjutnya ketik exit, agar komputer booting ulang.
- Nah sekarang lihat Windows XP sudah bisa start up lagi
Jika Windows Anda sekarang menemui semua driver belum terinstall, maka Anda perlu meng-update kembali lewat Device Manager, tinggal klik kanan saja pada lokasi hardware yang tanda tanya, lalu pilih update driver.
